I’m a graduate student of biology in University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus and I’m working in the interdisciplinary laboratory of Dr. Eduardo Nicolau. From my bachelor’s to graduate school I’ve had the opportunity to enrich myself with various experiences both academic as well as research experiences. I have been able to obtain knowledge from the natural science field, particularly, microbiology. The different microscopic life forms have served as an inspiration and motivation since they allow me to contribute with diverse techniques related to science with the end improving the health of other individuals.
